Two arrested for assaulting PHI

Senior DIG Police Media Spokesman Ajith Rohana stated that two persons have been arrested for assaulting two public inspectors in the Kondeniya area in Dickwella.

They were attacked by two men when the two public inspectors arrived to quarantine the home of a man who had died of Covid infection.

The two suspects are to be remanded until the 23rd of this month after being produced before the Matara Magistrate's Court.
