The abused girl identifies the former minister

Several people have been identified in connection with the sale of a 15-year-old girl in Mt. Lavinia on social media and the internet and four persons have been identified during an identification parade.

The girl has identified former Maldivian Minister of State for Finance Mohamed Ashmali, two hotel managers and a hotel employee in Bambalapitiya and Mount Lavinia who were remanded in connection with the incident.
