The Minister of Health says the country will reopen on October 1

Health Minister Keheliya Rambukwella said the country would reopen on October 1 under certain restrictions.

The Minister of Health further stated that Sri Lanka has become the 4th country in the world to provide covid vaccines and there is a rapid decline in the number of covid patients and covid patients hospitalized.

He said the country was expected to open on October 1, but the final decision would be taken on September 30.
