The All-Party Conference is on a positive step

Deputy Leader of the United Nations Ruwan Wijewardene said that the people now need steps to set up a common platform as the All Party Conference convened by the National Movement for Social Justice has taken a positive step.

The Deputy Leader said that no political party in the Opposition could go it alone and that the people should do their own thing as they need a common platform to solve their problems.

Mano Ganesan, Leader of the Tamil Progressive Alliance (TPA) said that a number of issues were discussed, including the repeal of the 20th Amendment, the resolution of the economic crisis and the guarantee of the independence of the judiciary.
