Sri Lankan refuses to divulge cargo carried to Uganda

SriLankan Airlines (SLA) has airlifted 102 metric tons of ‘Printed material’ to Uganda but is unwilling to disclose the content. The airline maintains that they are unable to disclose information that they have to maintain confidentiality for commercial reasons.
The cargo has been delivered to Entebbe International Airport in February on three Airbus charter flights. According to the airline the cargo has been cleared by the customs and it has refused to divulge information on who commissioned the task.
The airline has responded to an information request made by the Sunday Times newspaper saying that if they would disclose information other airlines would solicit the same business.
