Showers in several areas today

According to the Meteorological Department, there will be showers in the Western, Sabaragamuwa and Galle and Matara districts today.

 

Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in the Uva, Eastern and North-Central Provinces during the evening or elsewhere during the evening or night.

 

People are also urged to take steps to minimize the damage caused by strong winds and lightning during thundershowers.
