Short term debt is not the solution to the reserve crisis - MP Harsha

Samagi Jana Balawega MP Dr. Harsha de Silva said that a crisis could arise in Sri Lanka's foreign reserves from next year.

Cabinet Spokesman Minister Keheliya Rambukwella said that the government had managed the foreign reserves well by paying a $ 1 billion loan installment recently.

The Minister further stated that the statements made by the Opposition regarding a reserve crisis were baseless.
