Schools to open islandwide for all grades on March 15

The Education Ministry announced that the schools in Sri Lanka will reopen for all grades from March 15.

 

He stated that the Ministry obtained the recommendations of the District Development Committees of the Colombo, Gampaha and Kalutara Districts, in order to reopen the schools in the Western Province.

 

Education Minister Professor G. L. Periris stated that all preparations have been made to conduct the GCE Ordinary Level Examination from the 01st to the 11th of March.

 

Accordingly, measures to reopen the remaining schools for all grades will be taken from March 15 following the completion of the examination , based on the advise of the health authorities.
