16 month year old baby infected with coronavirus passes away

A 16-month-old baby, infected with COVID-19, has died at the Lady Ridgeway Hospital for Children in Colombo.

As per the Director of Lady Ridgeway Hospital Dr J. Wijesooriya, the baby had been under medical care at the ICU for 11 days.

The baby has been tested positive for coronavirus on two occassions.
