SL Police issue special notice for lovers on Valantine's Day

The Police Spokesman Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Ajith Rohana stated that Police and Intelligence Unit officers have been deployed to raid parties and public events organized  in view of Valentine’s Day.

 

He stated that  such events cannot be held without the prior approval of local health authorities and given that the hotels or guesthouses are found to have provided their premises for Valentine’s Day celebrations, such places will be sealed and action will be taken under the Quarantine Law.
