Rumors of an attack on the Katunayake Airport are untrue

Retired Secretary General of the Ministry of Defense Kamal Gunaratne has said that the rumors received by the airport authorities that the Katu Bandaranaike International Airport was being attacked were untrue.

The Ministry of Defense also announced that the public should not be alarmed by the fake e-mails that are being spread.
