Focus on weather today

Showers will occur at times in the Galle, Matara, Nuwara Eliya districts and in the Sabaragamuwa and Western provinces. Showers will occur in the North Western Province as well.

Showers or thundershowers will occur in the Uva and Eastern Provinces during the evening or night.

Winds will be 40-50 kmph in Hambantota, Trincomalee and North Central Provinces.

The general public is urged to take necessary measures to minimize the damage caused by lightning and wind.
