Rice import tax to be revised

The Ministry of Finance stated that the Special Commodity Levy on imported samba, nadu and raw rice has been revised.

Accordingly, the existing import duty on rice is Rs. 50 - Rs. 60, reduced to 25 cents per kilogram.
