Rear Admiral Bandula Senaratne has been appointed Commander of the North Central Navy

Rear Admiral Bandula Senaratne assumed duties as the Commander of the North Central Navy at the Commanding Headquarters from yesterday (July 20).

Prior to his appointment as the Commander of the North Central Naval Command, Rear Admiral Senaratne was the Commanding Officer of the North Western Naval Command, while former Regional Commander Rear Admiral Sanjeewa Dias officially handed over duties and responsibilities to the new Successor at the Commanding Headquarters.

Before surrendering to the North Central Naval Command, Rear Admiral Sanjeewa Dias was accorded an honorary guard of honor in accordance with naval customs.
