Prof. Charitha Herath appointed as COPE chairman

Government MP Prof. Charitha Herath was appointed as the Chairman of the Commitee on Public Enterprises (COPE) on September 22 (today).

His name was proposed by Minister Mahindananda Aluthgamage and it was seconded by State Minister Jayantha Samaraweera at the first meeting of the COPE Committee of the 9th Parliament.
