President Gotabaya Rajapaksa has decided to implement action for the betterment of nursery education.

 

Accordingly, the President has recommended to appoint a ministry to put nursery education under, in view of solving problems in the field and for development.

 

He made this observation speaking to an election propaganda rally held in Matara today (25).

 

Further commenting on the decision, Mr. Rajapaksa said that he was informed during his observation tours that there are many problems for pre school teachers and overall in the pre school education. Accordingly, these problems will be addressed and provided solutions, he emphasised.

 

Meanwhile, pre school teachers will be given a monthly allowance as well, the President further revealed.
