President instructs District Secretaries to be prepared to work under the new normal conditions

President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa told district secretaries that they should be prepared to work energetically under the new normalcy to avoid the Covid-19 epidemic setbacks that have occurred in every sector during the past two years.

Although the government was not able to achieve the intended objectives as planned, the Covid-19 epidemic was successfully controlled as a result of the commitment of all parties, the Presidential Media Unit said.

The District Secretaries stated that all are committed to provide a fast and efficient public service to achieve the goals while giving strength to implement the decision taken by the President.
