DRP will start its services from Monday

The Department of Registration of Persons (DRP) will commence its services on Monday (4).

The one day service of issuing National Identity Cards is not available and the general public is requested to hand over the completed applications to the relevant Grama Niladharis instead of submitting them to their District Secretariats.

However, in case of an emergency, priority will be given to those who need IDs.
