President inaugurates Sri Lanka investment program 2021

The Sri Lankan Invetment forum 2021 was inaugurated by his Excllency President Gotabaya Rajapakse a short while ago.

 

The Investment forum being the Asia's first and largest virtual forum to attract foreign investors is  organized by the Board of Investment, The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce and the Colombo Stock Exchange.

 

One of the main aims of the forum is to provide an overall experience with a wide understanding of the FDI and the Capital Market Opportunities available in Sri Lanka.

 

The 3 day event  with 60+ sessions will cover two time zones and expert insight from various industries.

 

The program was commenced Today (June 07th) at 9.20am in Sri Lanan time and the second session will be commencing at 14.30 GMT/ 10.00 EST for the audience from Europe and the USA.

 

The purpose of the forum is to attract direct and portfolio investers from worldwide  such as sovereign wealth funds,private equity funfs,Development Finance Institutions,large MNCs and conglomerates, High Net worth individuals and the investors of other types.
