Pharmaceutical industry concerned on vaccine supply chain

The Sri Lanka Chamber of the Pharmaceutical Industry (SLCPI)  has cautioned the government against illegal and counterfeit products. The pharmaceutical industry has warned that the government should ensure that products are all ways purchased from legitimate traders and credible suppliers.

 

The SLCPI said it will ensure that it will import of vaccines from legitimate distributors, registered with their Principals who are the global manufacturers. The SLCPI  has pointed out that procurement of any vaccine for Covid-19 should mandatorily be from registered, market authorized distributors, approved by the global manufacturers.
