People over the age of 60 should be given a booster vaccine - Prof. Nilika Malavige

Prof. Nilika Malavige, Head of the Department of Antimicrobial and Molecular Studies, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, said that all people over the age of 50 should be given a third dose of covid vaccine.

She added that there is no need to give a third dose of covid vaccine to people under 50 years of age.
