Navy has arrested a foreign vessel carrying heroin

The Navy has arrested nine foreign suspects with a foreign vessel carrying heroin in international waters.

According to information provided by the Sri Lanka Police, the operation was carried out after observing for several days.

The vessel with the suspects was taken to the Port of Colombo and the nine suspects were handed over to the Police Narcotics Bureau for legal action.
