Newly appointed Ministers to be reviewed : a 6 month progress report on their role to be called in

Environment Minister Mahinda Amaraweera stated that , President  Gotabaya Rajapaksa has reached a decision to hold a progress review meeting with the newly appointed ministers in six months.

 

Accordingly, the ministers will be required to submit reports on their role,  during the six month period.

 

Furthermore, the President has decided to dismiss those who fail to meet the requirements of the goverment during the said period, from the respective ministries.
