Maximum price for rice and sugar

State Minister of Cooperative Services, Marketing Development and Consumer Protection Lasantha Alagiyawanna stated that the maximum retail price for rice and sugar will be set from tomorrow.

He further said that the stocks of sugar found recently hidden in three warehouses will be distributed to the Gampaha District Sathosa branches from today after being handed over to the Commissioner General of Essential Services.
