Kandy Esala Perahera commences today

The Kandy Esala Perahera commences from today onwards.

 

The first "Kumbal Perahera" will begin its procession on July 25.

 

The "Randholi Perahera" will parade the streets from the 30th  of July  to the 3rd of August.

 

It will conclude on August 4, where the water cutting ceremony will be observed.

 

Owing to the COVID-19 pandemic situation, this year's perahera will commence without the spectators.
