IGP goes to the police

IGP of the Sri Lanka Police CD Mr. Wickramaratne has lodged a complaint with the Colombo CID against journalist Chamuditha Samarawickrema for making a statement regarding a quarantine program during a program on Hiru Rupavahini.

The Piliyandala Police have gone to the journalist's house and informed him about this.

He is scheduled to appear before the CID today and further investigations are being carried out by the CID.
