Denmark COVID variant found in Colombo

A genetic sequencing process has revealed that the Denmark lineage of COVID-19 is now in Colombo. According to says Dr Chandima Jeewandara, of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura 03 persons from Colombo have been tested positive with the Denish COVID-19 strand.

 

Meanwhile, another 06   Covid patients infected with the  UK variant (B 117). Six of them have been detected from the quarantine centers.  The South African variant was detected previously.
