Daily number of patients should be further reduced - Dr. Hemantha Herath

Deputy Director General of Health Services, Specialist Dr. Hemantha Herath said that the number of covid patients seen daily in the country should be further reduced.

He said that the 2,300 covid patients who are reported daily are a burden to the health system.

He further said that the country should reach a level where no infected people are reported locally.
