Covid gets infected and a teacher dies

The Uva Provincial Coordinator of the Government Medical Officers 'Association, Dr. Palitha Rajapaksa said that a teacher who worked at the Badulla Tamil Girls' College had died of Covid 19 infection.

Maya's son, a 49 - year - old resident of Yampanam Estate, Badulla, has also recovered from a previous infection with Covid, public health inspectors said.

The teacher was hospitalized yesterday due to illness and died shortly afterwards.
