Colombo National Hospital at high risk of covid disease

A senior hospital spokesman said that the Colombo National Hospital was at high risk due to the increasing number of Covid patients and that nearly 400 Covid patients had been identified at the Colombo National Hospital in the last two days alone.

He attributed the situation to the fact that a significant number of people who are brought to the National Hospital by accident are infected with the corona virus.

Nearly 250 staff members of the Colombo National Hospital, including a number of nurses, have already been infected with the Covid Third Wave.
