Sri Lankan Catholics observe "Black Sunday", today

Sri Lankan Catholics island-wide have been attending Sunday church services , in  black attire  on March 7 (today).

 

Today is declared a " Nlack Sunday" in protest against the lack of justice for those were killed and affected by the Easter Attacks. 

 

The  decision to conduct the protest was reached by the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of Sri Lanka and Colombo Archbishop Malcolm Cardinal Ranjith.
