Over 500,000 vaccinated against Covid-19 in SL

More than  500,000 individuals have received  the Oxford AstraZeneca Covishield vaccine in Sri Lanka.

 

According to the National Operations Centre for the Prevention of COVID-19 Outbreak, the following groups have recieved the COVID-19 vaccine.

 

• 176,808 health staff and doctors
• 205,240 general public
• 46,173 Army officers
• 10,435 Navy officers
• 9,375 Policemen
• 7,447 Air Force officers
• 205 Diplomats
• 123 Parliamentarians
