Attention of the Consultative Committee on the Ministry of Trade regarding the gas cylinder issue

A special meeting of the Ministerial Advisory Committee on Trade was held in Parliament today (01) to seek the views and solutions of several parties regarding the sudden rise in gas cylinder incidents reported in the last few days.

 

The Special Consultative Committee of Ministers was held yesterday (30) in Parliament to discuss further issues raised by the Opposition, with the involvement of several other parties.

 

Ministry of Trade, State Ministry of Cooperative Services, Marketing Development and Consumer Protection, Ministry of Technology, State Ministry of Skills Development, Ministry of Vocational Education, Research and Innovation, Sri Lanka Police, Consumer Affairs Authority, Department of Measurement Units, Primites & Services, Litro Gas Lanka Limited , Laugfs Gas PLC, Sri Lanka Standards Institution, Sri Lanka Accreditation Board, Ceylon Petroleum Corporation, Ministry of Energy and the Government Analyst's Department were also present at the meeting.
