Focus on weather today

Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in many parts of the island.

 

Thundershowers will develop at several places in the North, North-Central, Eastern, Uva, Sabaragamuwa, Central and Southern provinces.
 

Elsewhere, showers of up to 75 mm are expected in some places.

 

The general public is kindly requested to take adequate measures to minimize the dangers posed by temporary strong winds and lightning in those areas during thundershowers.
