AstraZeneca vaccine from Japan to Sri Lanka

According to Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Motegi, Japan will donate 19 AstraZeneca Covid vaccines to Sri Lanka and other Asian neighbors.

As part of the government and bilateral deal, Japan has injected millions of doses each into Indonesia, Taiwan and Vietnam, and added an additional 11 million doses this month to Bangladesh, Cambodia, Iran, Laos, Nepal, Sri Lanka and various other countries. .

The World Health Organization (WHO) has recently approved the use of AstraZeneca in Japan, said Toshimitsu Motegi.
