Army Commander denies rumors of country wide lockdown

Army Commander General Shavendra Silva has refuted the rumors of a country-wide lockdown after the the detection of the new coronavirus variant in Sri Lanka. 

 

He stated that  discussions are being held on the necessary and essential measures required to contain  the new variant.
