Antonov 32B to arrive Sri Lanka on Friday

SLAF Spokesman Group Captain Dushan Wijesinghe said that the three Ukrain built Antanov-32 (AN- 32B) transport aircrafts owned by SLAF will return to Sri Lanka again on Friday,11th of June.

 

They were sent to Ukraine in August, last year, along with a SLAF team to assist and monitor the processes done, in order to under go repairs and life extension.

 

Prior to send these to Ukraine, the aircrafts were examined by 6 Ukranian engineers in May last year and had recommended a complete overhaul to all three aircrafts .
