Drive through PCR must be conducted

Professor Arjuna de Silva has requested government to conduct drive through PCR tests for people who travel regularly. This method will be reduced unnessasary movements of citizens and support to identify infected people quickly.

 

Furthermore, he has stated that travel restricted period is the most convinient time to perform more PCR tests. Conducting the "LAMP " test is the latest and low cost method to identify infected people who are not showing any covid symptoms, Professor said further. This method will be granted permission from health ministry soon.
