Expected flood in seversl areas

The prevailing rainy condition has emerged a risk of flood in some areas of the country, says the Irrigation Department.

 

The risky areas are, Gampaha, Minuwangoda, Ja-Ela, Milllaniya, Kaluthara, Horana, Ingiriya and Mathugama according to the records.

 

Rising of the water levels of Kalu and Kelani rivers   and also the Aththanagalla stream may cause the flood, the department stated further.
