Another stock of Pfizer injection arrives in the island

A cargo plane carrying 80,000 US-made Pfizer shots, first flown from Amsterdam in the Netherlands to Doha in Qatar, was flown to Katunayake Airport this morning by a Qatar Airways cargo plane.

Arrangements were made to store the vaccine in the refrigerator at the village until it was transported to the Sri Lanka Pharmaceuticals Corporation.
