A warning from India about a new Covid variety

The new Covid cultivar, Delta Plus, is more likely to spread than the Delta cultivar first identified in India, and complications are high, Indian health officials say.

An internal document from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention points out that the Delta strain is similar to the spread of chickenpox and that the Delta strain is stronger than the vaccine.

Foreign media have reported that public servants who have not been vaccinated are required to have a weekly or bi-weekly PCR test.
