23 kg of heroin recovered in Sapugaskanda - man-hunt launched to arrest the CCD Constable involved in heroin trafficking

The Meegahawatte Police have recovered 23 kilograms of heroin in Heiyanthuduwa, Sapugaskanda.

 

One suspect was arrested as per the sources.

 

The arrestee, is reportedly the brother of a CCD police constable who is said to have given the drugs to the said suspect. 

 

Investigations are currently underway to arrest the CCD officer over the involvement in heroin trafficking
