Pregnant woman tests positive for COVID-19 while in self-isolation in Chilaw

A pregnant lady who was undergoing self-isolation at her residence in Chilaw, following the completion of the mandatory quarantine process has tested positive for COVID-19.

 

According to the sources, the said person have arrived from Dubai and had been placed at the Vavuniya quarantine centre, prior to placing her under self-quarantine at her residence.

 

The patient has now been transferred to the IDH  (National Institute of Infectious Diseases).
