20th amendment to the constitution before cabinet this week

The proposed draft of the 20th Amendment to the Constitution is to be tabled before the Cabinet of Ministers this week, as per the sources.

The said paper is under formulation and the next Cabinet meeting is scheduled on September 2, at 4.00 p.m. under the patronage of President Gotabaya Rajapaksa.
