120,000 doses of Sputnik V to be delivered to Sri Lanka next week

Minister of State Prof. Channa Jayasumana said that 120,000 doses of the Russian-made Sputnik V covid vaccine will be delivered to Sri Lanka next week.

More than 100,000 people in the Kandy District have received the Sputnik V vaccine and are awaiting the second dose, with some of the vaccines to be given.

The dosage will then be extended to other areas as needed.
