2 Prison guards interdicted for attempting to provide mobile phones for inmates

Commissioner General of Prisons Thushara Upuldeniya stated that two prison officers who had been serving to the prisons in Mahara and Matara,  were interdicted today (June 21)  for attempting to provide a mobile phone to a drug convict. 

 

The prison guards have been handed over to Sri Lanka Police for further investigations.
