The “New Year in Paradise 2023” in Unawatuna

The “New Year in Paradise 2023” New Year festival provides an experience based on local culture to foreign tourists. The festival started this morning (15th) at Unawatuna Beach under the guidance of Minister of Labour and Foreign Employment Manusha Nanayakkara.

 

Many cultural elements and traditional food items were arranged to embellish the event. Also, many traditional New Year competitions have been organized for foreigners.

 

The Ministry of Tourism and the Tourism Promotion Authority sponsored this New Year event organized to provide New Year experiences to foreign tourists.
