Francis pope is recovers and leaves hospital

"Pope Francis recovers from bronchitis and leaves hospital today (April 1) after three days at A. Gemelli University Hospital." The Vatican press office has reported.

 

Reporters further added that, Before leaving, the pope had greeted the Rector of the Catholic University, Franco Anelli.

 

The pope answered reporters’ questions, embraced and blessed a crying woman and left after speaking to a couple. He is expected to deliver the Angelus Prayer tomorrow on Palm Sunday.

 

“Pope Francis was hospitalized due to some respiratory difficulties that required proper medical treatment.” The press office states.

 

President Joe Biden who became the first Roman Catholic U.S. leader in more than half a century also sent his good wishes for the recovery of pope Francis during remarks at an event Wednesday celebrating Greek Independence Day and Francis send replied on Twitter thanking all the good wishes.
