The Bubble Barrier to stop waste reach the sea

Many plastic made items such as helmets, surfing boards, christmas trees etc were found floating down in Amsterdam's Westerdok canal. The waste were held preventing flowing down towards the sea by a "curtain of bubbles ".

 

This curtain with bubbles is developed in the aim of stopping the waste flowing to the ocean via different waterways.

 

The bubble barrier is expected to stop 86% ofthe trash flowing towards the ocean.There by  they have been able to conserve the country's coast.
