A total of 785 police officers across SL have contracted the coronavirus so far - DIG Ajith Rohana

The Police Media Spokesperson DIG Ajith Rohana stated that a total of 785 police officers across Sri Lanka have contracted COVID-19  so far.

 

Furthermore, a police officer attached to the Traffic Branch of the Peradeniya Police Station has also tested positive for the coronavirus. 

 

He added that the said officer and his close associates have been placed under quarantine.
